I am so excited to be relaunching Co.Curated today! I’ve been blogging on and off for the past ten years and it’s always just been a fun hobby for me, and something I never really took that seriously. And, don’t get me wrong, it’s still fun, but I want this blog to be different. I really want to share my life and build a strong like-minded community where we can learn, share, and grow with one another. So, even though this blog officially started in November of 2017, it already needed a rebrand and I needed to start taking it seriously.
Let’s start with this, it has been a whirlwind of a year. From leaving my job of seven years for my husband’s new job, moving cities, being unemployed for the first time in my life, job hunting, wedding planning, getting married, trying to make friends…I was getting to a point where it was beginning to feel like way more than I could handle.
That’s where this blog relaunch comes in. I got married in September, and it really felt like we were turning the page, and I’m trying to use this moment to begin a new chapter, a way to refresh not only the look and feel of my website but also of my life. Also, I decided to relaunch the blog on my birthday, November 23rd. So, I’m really using my 32nd year on this planet to start fresh and figure out this thing called life. I asked myself the following questions when I started this rebrand;
- What do I love?
- Why do I love it?
- How can I share that and build a community?
Yes, this is still a life and style blog, it’s meant to encompass all aspects of my life and the things I am passionate about. Whether that’s beauty, style, cooking/baking, home decor, animals and above all else… ART! I want to infuse everything I do, every single day with art. Each month you will find blog posts dedicated to art. Whether it be museum exhibitions, new street art, gallery openings, or just an artist feature. I want to let you into my life, and my life will always revolve around art and creativity.
So, Co.Curated the blog is here, and I’m so ready to build something great no matter where I call home. And please feel free to comment on my posts, ask questions, leave me suggestions on what you want to see here as well. As of right now, I’m planning on posting one to two times a week (at least on Friday’s). That could change in the future, but for now, we’ll start there and see where it takes us. Make sure to follow my blog and sign up for email notifications.
I am beyond excited to grow this community with you. And I have big plans for this year.
