Tomorrow marks the official start to the Holiday Season! As an adult, I have grown even more fond of this time of year, it brings me such joy to spend time with family. This year will be a bit different since I have moved away from home, and I would be lying if I said there weren’t a part of me that was homesick. Not only is November-January filled with holidays but it also sees a TON of birthday’s including, my brother, nieces, mom, aunt, and my own!
Tomorrow, Mark and I will be spending Thanksgiving (which is also my birthday this year) at home together in Buffalo. It will be my first year cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and not having multiple family events to attend. I’m excited to start new traditions with my love and excited to travel back to Toledo for Christmas.
Gift giving is not as important as spending quality time with our family and friends but I have to say… they’re pretty great. I pride myself on being a great “gifter”, and I spend a lot of time researching and making sure I find just the right thing for each person on my list. This year, I plan on making a lot of gifts – seeing as I’m currently job-hunting and trying to pinch all the pennies I can. So, with that, I present to you all the very first Co-Curated Annual Holiday Gift Guide. I hope you enjoy, and share your ideas for great gifts in the comments section below!
